I always loved this song. First David Bowie covered in in 1972 on the "Pin Ups" album. Then Van Halen in the early '80s.

I love all the renditions. Which one do you like best? I'll tell you my fave in a few weeks.

As much as I like Van Halan with DLR it's Bowie by a mile on this tune for me. Is that Mick Ronson on guitar? whoever it is is BA. Love that you have all three versions in one post.

I like all three for different reasons. The Kinks version has the edge for me but only for the nostalgia aspect.
