I've been enjoying all of the blues, rock and even country vids here on the Weebly tonight. And in particular, some great vids here this week in tribute to Jimi, Stevie...and now to another late great from another side of the fence, a great jazzer - Bob Berg. Bob was my favorite sax guy until his tragic death several years ago in NY, when a cement truck was unable to stop on some ice, killing Bob as he and his wife were out for groceries.
Mark certainly knows Bob from his many shared projects with guitarist Mike Stern...who makes a slight appearance here as well.

You don't get to see the drummer much early...but if you know your fusion, you'll know who's spankin' the skins in about 60 seconds without seeing him. Check the drum roll at 4:10. Yep...it's some sax and guitar noodling over a tight band, but these guys are (were) among the best.
Yep, it's 10 minutes long...but it won't seem like it. Hope you enjoy Bob and the boys.
