The Story In Your Eyes

Seymouro
The Moody Blues created a lot of thought provoking music with some great lyrics and melodies.

They could rock it out at times too.

I also believe that the Moody Blues were the first to introduce either strings or string synthesizer to rock music. Something like that. Anyway, they were music innovators and had great songs.

Walt, I think you're referring to the "Mellotron" synth that they were famous for that sounded like strings. I was reading some stuff about the band and I was surprised to read that John Lodge and Justin Hayward weren't even in the original band. Denny Lane was the original guitarist. Craziness!

Oh that's interesting. I had no idea Hayward and Lodge weren't founding members. Denny Lane sure has been around! How many famous bands has he been in anyway?

Denny was probably most well known for playing with Sir Paul but he also played with George and Ginger Baker plus he had a bunch of solo albums.
