If you haven't seen it, it's worth the trouble finding it.  A Tom Hanks movie. Set it the 60s, it's a feel good story of a garage band, that hits the big time, well, by accident.

I know I've heard of this movie but I definitely never saw it. The tune is very catchy. I looked for the title in Netflix but unfortunately it's not on there and that's the only subscription I have so I don't know when I'll be able to see it.

That movie looks great but I don't have any streaming unless I can find the whole thing on YT. I may have to watch it bit by bit via video clips. This Tom Hanks gem somehow escaped my radar when it came out.

I'm with you Walter.  My girlfriend turned me on to it. Apparently there is another, much more dark and edgy cut of the movie.  Hanks wanted to show the dark side of the music business, but decided to go with the feel good version back in '96.  Everywhere I lookedto find a place we could stream has the, what do they call it, the directors cut.

Been looking around to find a way to put the whole thing up.
Torrents, I'm not even going there. They sound risky.  Seems there should be a place where you pay 15 bucks and get a password to watch a streaming movie for a month or so. There are a few I know I'd rent.
The Endless Summer.  On Any Sunday.  Heaven Can Wait.  Just to name a few.
