"Screaming Lord Sutch" the British Alice Cooper?

Seymouro
Don't know if any of you are familiar with this whack cat.

It started in London with this...in 1964.

By '72 it evolved into this! Tell me this doesn't remind you of "The Coop"!

He even mentions Cooper!

Too cool!

If you liked these, you can keep playing material from him. I did.

Never heard of this guy before. I do see some similarities but I must say that the Coop is awesome... this character is just interesting.

Musically he doesn't hold a candle to the Coop.

I agree he's very interesting. I got a real kick out of his "show" ideas. Amazingly, at different junctures he had some great musicians with him too. Included were Keith Moon, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Charlie Watts and Nicky Hopkins.

The guy was pretty "off his rocker". He formally contested at least a dozen Parliament elections in England. he ran for office himself some 40 times and lost every one of them.

Committed suicide in 1999, two years after he lost his mother. Weird weird dude.

Screaming Lord Such.... can't say I've ever heard of him either. Interesting how many well known players he was able to attract. Makes me think there was something more to the guy.

Someone on the WABX alumni facebook page posted some stuff about him. I knew about him but hadn't heard about him for decades.

Weird dude!
