The studio version of this was on "Meddle". That album that preceded Dark Side of the Moon.

Maybe my favorite Floyd number of all time.

Good choice guy.
From what I read it was a real good idea,
but the logistics were trying.  
They had to lug a bunch of generators,
and fuel for the generators,
it was pretty remote, recording wasn’t easy,
it was hot.  

But, it is a great version.

Speaking of Waters... As much as I love Gilmour, Floyd was best when Waters was in the band. Too bad those boys couldn't get along or whatever the reason was for the split.

So DM doesn't like Waters? I did not know that. Wonder what's up with that? I know he flippin hates Bonnie Raitt... in fact so much so that he also hates Susan Tedeschi because her voice is similar to Raitt. That's tragic because the Tedeschi Trucks band is bada$$.

Agreed. Tedeschi Trucks is great. Actually, much like what was said about Floyd, Susan and Derek are great together or apart but together is best.

Meddle is a great song and also my favorite from that album.

As to the rest... like 'em all but Bonnie Raitt I can take or leave... mostly leave. IMO, even though Susan Tedeschi has a similar sounding voice as Raitt, Susan is actually better and I like the music a LOT more.
