Rock Concert Website

Seymouro
You guys have got to see this website!

It is a national classic rock concert website. It lists practically every rock concert that has ever taken place in the United States. If you register (I did, as DavifF1957) it lets you enter comments regarding any concert that you may have attended.

I commented on the 1979 Who concert at Masonic, as well as one Stanley Clarke played there in 1979.

It even lets you add concerts to the database. I added an Amboy Dukes concert that I attended at the Michigan Palace in 1974!

Way cool!

That's a cool site and I'm sure there will be lots more listings as time goes on. I looked for some that I could remember and some are definitely missing, like the Black Sabbath concert we went to at Cobo in 74. Also Thin Lizzy/ACDC at Royal Oak (late 70's?). I used to have a collection of ticket stubs for every concert I ever went to but I threw them away at some point. Dang it. They would have come in handy for adding items to the list.

I researched the Thin Lizzy concert, found the date on a website and added it to the website(with comment) under the venue CITY: Royal Oak and VENUE: Royal Oak Music Theater.

You will enjoy my comment Mark...

Oh, BTW I also researched and found the Sabbath concert...

February 3, 1974. Entered it into their database with comment. There was one in 1975 but it had "Sabotage" material and it was not performed at our show.

Plus we were not graduated yet when we saw them.

Wow, this is cool!  I've got to try and remember some of the classic concerts I've been to. There's a lot on there but many gaps to fill, but I guess that's half the fun.

Update:  I tried to get into the link from the 1st post and it no longer works but I think it turned into this one - https://theconcertdatabase.com/

Lots of venues and concerts listed. It's fun to look through the listings.
