Procol Harum - The Blink of an Eye - 9/11 Tribute

Big Jer
It's been 8 years since that horrible day & is surely not a good memory, but it is also one we should never forget...

I never heard that song before Big Jer...

But I really bonded with it. It was not political at all, was very measured and well delivered and it pretty much just did an awesome job of simply reflecting the feelings, the mood and the weight of the events perfectly.

Great job as always.

Man, I look forward to meeting you in person (as well as the others that I have not already met in person). But you know something. Even though I have never met you in person, I feel I know you as well or better than many that I have met in person. That is cool.

That said...in this poignant blip in time, God Bless You and everyone on here...your families, your friends and your associates.

Nice song by Procal Harem. Today is 9-11-2009 so it's cool but sad to hear this today.

Thank you Dave, I hope too that we can meet someday. Sharing the love of good music has always been something I treasured. Back in the 70's, I would get together with friends to share something new & then we would swap albums to copy to 8-track or cassette tapes. That's what I love about this forum! I feel like we are doing that again, but just in a different new high tech way. The only thing that could make it better, would be if we were together while listening & watching, although getting positive feedback can feel very close to that experience. Thanks much for that!

And since you said it so well, God Bless to You too and everyone on here...your families, your friends and your associates.
