Peter Gabriel - Sky Blue w/The Blind Boys of Alabama

Big Jer
This beautiful song hung around unfinished for years, but then Peter found the perfect way to end it.  It was worth the wait!

This was a moving piece...the Blind Boys were awesome.

Gabriel always was my favorite player in Genesis. He has done even better work since the group disbanded decades ago. The harmony was incredible in the vocals, yet typically on key.

Outstanding and creative musician, and nothing against Lou Reed but a better poet laureate than even Lou...and as great a human being that anyone could hope for.

Thanks for this outstanding find Big Jer!

Yep - great find and VID was very good quality.  I never saw PG in concert and watching this makes me really wish I had.  He can really set the mood for the audience, great visuals and sound.
Excellent.  I'll watch this again...

Very nice. I've seen Gabriel e few times now, solo and with Genesis, and his level of professionalism is unsurpassed. I love the way he can write a song that, on the surface, seems  simple yet the under-lying structure and textures are not. Most of his stuff on you-tube is high quality and I guess we would expect nothing less.
Thanks for a great post Jer
How long will this be stuck in my head?
sure could be worse
