More from 2009

Seymouro
Must be in the mood for stuff I posted 14 years ago.

This is actually from 1967. Not "Wild Thing". But this.

Excellent! Haven't heard this in a coon's age. I think I still have the Wild Thing 45. I need to take a look.

So... here's a song that was apparently a hit for the Troggs but I have no memory of it. Was it a UK hit? Do you guys remember it?

Haha... I just looked back and see that your 2009 post was Love is All Around Me but a newer version. What's interesting is that the link is still good!

Never heard "Girl Like You" myself.

Cool, catchy tune. According to Wikipedia it was a million seller along with Love Is All Around and Wild Thing, and they are referring to U.S. sales. It blew right past us- which is surprising.

Here's a version y'all may have heard from another guitar player that may be familiar to you.

Nice. I thought I'd heard all the versions of Wild Thing until now. Personally, I think the Chip Taylor version is my favorite, even more than Jimi.
