Nicely done JP! No pun intended, but your little choir really sings it out. Nice job on the Sony Cybershot capture as well Mark...way to keep it steady and smooth which makes it nicer to view.
Hey...it's CHRISTmas...and in keeping with JP's encouragemant to "follow the light"...let me share something which a good friend sent to me today. "The triumph of joy in Christmas is the Gospel irony that the entry of Jesus' life via His rough wooden manger leads to the exit of Jesus' life via the rugged wooden cross". These two events are inseparable, and offer true and everlasting peace with God - the 'real' gift of Christmas. The gospel message is simple.
God sent Christ to the world to save us from our sin.
Philippians 2:6-11 - "Jesus made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Jesus and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
1 John 5:13 - "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life".
To us all - may the birth as well as redeeming death of Christ be our joy and the heart of our Christmas celebration.
