Jerry Douglas Dobro master

I kept running across this guy on many recent youtube excursions, playing with different artists/bands. He's a mainstay with Allison Krausse and Union Station but has been a highly respected and sought after session man.

Wow! This guy is terrific!

The only dobro guy that I know of besides Jerry is Klaus Voormann, who played great dobro on some of John Lennon and fewer times with George Harrison and was a master as well.

Jerry Douglas is the man on Dobro. He can do things on that gee-tar that others only dream about. This is a great vid of him just jamming on the dobro by himself which is very cool. He's great in Union Staion but you only get to hear snippets of him playing while playing with the band. Great band though.

Man, what year was that second vid shot?  Jerry and Bela look like kids. What's cool is that I dig both Jerry and Bela... I guess Chet's no slouch either
