Jeff Beck live at Fuji Speedway in Japan 2006

Seymouro
Speaking of dudes that can play a little slide guitar... and any guitar in rock or fusion with the best of all time in the whole wide world, here is Jeff Beck performing Beck's Bolero live .

Jeff has certainly taken much better care of himself than most legends. He actually still looks rather
youthful in this video and definitely does not have the quivers that his old mate Jimmy Page has battled for years due to that narcotic...

Enjoy.

That was absolutely A W E S O M E .

JB has been one of my favorite guitar players and influences since around 1975. Such a unique and instantly recognizable style and many great original songs with Beck's Bolero being among the early ones. And he makes it look so easy... walking back and forth, looking around at his mates while playing impossible licks and seamlessly integrating the slide. What's also impressive is that he uses a fairly basic Fender Strat... no butique or fancy custom built thing with a million gadgets, no giant pedal board, he doesn't even use a pick (plectrum for you English bloaks)... just Jeff>guitar>amp. All the magic comes from his soul.

Yep, and you're right, he's in great shape compared to most of his contemporaries. He gets high on playing guitar and working on his hot rods. Beyond that he seems to live a quiet life.

Jeff Beck "Truth" has been one of my favorite albums of all time.
It's also the album that gave our old band our name..."Morning Dew".  Jeff Beck is one of those artists that was great to grow up with cause you never knew what you were going to hear next.

Great VID!

Great find, Seymouro!  Jeff's always been my favorite guitarist.  He doesn't really 'play' the guitar, he makes it speak for him.  He is truly a master of the instrument!

Thanks, Jerry
