I love this song and I'm not quite the Beatles/Lennon fan that you are. Harrison's slide is this song is awesome would not be the same without it.

Sid, can you edit out the "Ya ___ ..." .  There are more folks that view than post and some are kids.

Got carried away. Probably because that's how the video ended (with John referring to Mr. McCartney at this, of course).

Yeah, I don't buy what he said about those lyrics being about himself and it sounded like he was talking out of both sides of his mouth to me. He was still an intersting guy to listen to even though I didn't always agree with what he had to say. He was one outspoken dude. Denise loves him, I even bought her a DVD documentary that was really good despite the fact that Yoko was in the entire thing... never did warm up to her.

Very interesting tune!  I don't remember ever hearing it, or anything about it.  What exactly was his problem with Paul?  Commercial success???
