Early Small Faces

Seymouro
This is from '66. An oft overlooked but awesomely good group.

Steve Marriott shows the pipes and some pretty darn good pickin'. Ronnie Lane was in this band too. Kenny Jones joined The Who just after we lost Keith Moon. And finally, Jimmy McCullough eventually wound up with Wings (at times). I don't know who the black girl is. Could not seem to find out.

That was really cool. Marriot was one of a kind. Damn fine singer. Makes me want to put on some H-Pie right now.

Re: Early Small Faces

Hey Walter, I think you got them all right there. I think Faces was Rod Stewart and Ron Wood's band. But yes, Humble Pie followed the Small Faces.

Mark can probably confirm one way or the other.

You are correct, sir. Marriot was in the Small Faces and H Pie and Framp was in H Pie. Neither were in the Faces.  "We'll be home on Monday.... "

That was the best live album of all time, i.m.h.o.

Stone Cold Fever, I Walk On Gilded Splinters and this are among the incomparable performances.
