Delta - David Crosby w/Graham Nash

Big Jer
Just wanted to share this beautiful song performed flawlessly at a CSN concert in 1983. (FYI, the audio quality could be a little better)  Watch David at the end...I think he liked it too!

Nice.  That's the thing I've always loved about CSNY (or any combination of them) is the heart you hear and feel in their music.  I've been there - at the end of the song, when the harmonies were perfect and the song was everything you could hope for...

That was a strong performance and was obviously heartfelt as indicated by David's reaction at the end.

Thanks Jer, that one's a gem. I wouldn't mind if that tune was 20 minute long.

Wow Big Jer!

I am a Crosby and Stills megafan and this is the first time that I ever heard this song.

It is excellent!

For sure they had some really rocky times, but the music was great every time.

Neil Young did many numbers with Nash and these two and declared when he left that he had to be "true to the music". He did not mean that as a dig at them, he just had an acute awareness of when he had to move on. He did the same to all the other bands he played in, yet keeps returning to Crazy Horse because it allows him the most creative freedom.

These four artists remain legends no matter what. I favor Neil but only because I always champion the active ones. Neil Young and the Stones are separately the longest running acts (with many, many metamorphoses by Neil, but that is Neil...) in rock today that still perform newly written music (that they write themselves, incidentally).

That said, I love them all...

That's an interesting fact. There must be more but those two are awesome.
