A hard days night

Grado
This post was updated on .
In their prime, no stinkin overdubbing,
no double tracking, just a real, tight band.

Live.

The Beatles were like a perfect storm. They had everything: Great song writers, great musicians, vocalists and they played a LOT plus they were cute and fun to watch. And they came out just at the right time.

What's crazy to me is that the Beatles didn't start recording their music until 1962 and were done by 1970. So all that music was written and recorded in 8 years. That just blows my mind!

Ya Jingles, they put a lot down in a short time.

Thing is tho, they were a hard working band for a long time before the got a record deal.
I’ve read their first album was mainly their standard set they did in the clubs.
Recorded the whole album in like a day.

The stuff after that, Rubber Soul, Pepper,
White, Abby Road, yer right.

A ton of great stuff in really a short time.

Nice. That's a big one. I heard that the piano chord that John played at the end was actually several different pianos overdubbed to get that sound.

Chalk up another for a song I've never heard and never thought was even possible. I knew Jimi did Sgt. Pepper but Day Tripper? Didn't see that coming but it is cool. How could it not be?
