"Get Ready" rocks!
"Big Brother" is an all-time standard. Who really
knows the degree that "Big Brother" is watching. To quote Jagger from "Fingerprint File"..."You better tell the S.I.S. to keep out of sight, 'cuz I know they're taking pictures on the ultraviolet light, but these days, it's all
secrecy, no privacy".
Among others, Rare Earth was in front of "Fingerprint File". The legendary band Spirit (featuring Jay Ferguson and the incomparable Randy California) was as well, with "1984".

Regardless, now they perform not "Get Ready", but a very impressive "Are You Ready?". There were better video reproductions available than this (non-existent) but this is the original material. The bass lines and vocals are off the charts. Speaks for itself, you think? Then after that, Sugarloaf's inimitable "Green Eyed Lady". An era that will never be equaled my friends! Seemingly obscure bands stepping up to levels that most of today's musicians would need a spaceship to reach. Not all of them. make no mistake, there are a lot of great acts likely still out there. Will somebody please step up and
find them?
