Episode 7 of season two of FX's "Fargo" concluded tonight with this incredible cover of Just Dropped In (to see what condition my condition was in) by White Denim.

Best new tune I have heard in 5 years...albeit a cover. Funky as hell! Even has xylophones like Frank Z!

Ha!  Very interesting... definitely a 70's disco beat much like early Donna Summers! Listen to the drums and bass. I also agree with a Zappa-ish feel at times. Also reminds me a bit of the great Lionel Hampton on vibes (although I'm not familiar with many great vibe players, he's just the one that I think of when I hear vibes).

Zappa did do at least one disco tune... "Dancin' Fool."

To me it sounded more like Donna Summer meets Lionel Hampton arranged by Frank.

Very interesting and very retro sounding.
