Currently (in my opinion anyway) the best 'new' progressive rock band around today. Here's a couple from Chicago's Umphrey's McGee...

I just had to add this excellent 'in-store' performance of Professor Wormbog...

Wow...you are a hard working man Big Jer.

Given the barren as the Mojave Desert state of progressive rock in what they call "Twenty-oh-nine" this is a major find.

The material is pretty good, especially "Miss Tinkle", imo.

I liked it. Keep searching. It may take a search party of thousands to unearth enough to keep rock alive.

Sorry, but Pete Townshend was prescient in "Odds and Sods" with "Rock is Dead".

How sad, it is not dead but is definitely at the very least, on life support...

Prog Rock is till alive, just not on the radio. The great musicains only have word-of-mouth or cult followings now and that applies to Jazz, Bluegrass, etc as well as Rock. I've got music on mp3 that will blow you away, not sure if I'll be able to find it on youtube but I'll try. Stay tuned.
