Tin Machine

Seymouro
This cover of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero" is simply wicked...

Pretty cool.   Singer sounds like Bowie.

That is Bowie, my friend.

The band consists of Bowie, the Sales' brothers (yes, Soupy Sales' kids) - Tony Fox Sales on bass and Hunt Sales on drums. Guitarist Reeves Gabriel later co-founded The Cure.

Tin Machine was cool. I still have the first album on CD

I can't believe this came out in 88. Just doesn't seem like it was that long ago... damn.

FYI, I played a Reeves Gabrels signature guitar at Joes Music in Eastpoint. It's a really cool guitar and that dude is a monster player.

Cool...didn't know you played that guitar in that store, or had that record.

Re: Tin Machine

I remember Tim Machine as being pretty radical at the time and different than all of the other Bowie stuff but maybe it was just my perception. I also didn't realize it was that long ago. Time sure does fly. I need to revisit.

I still think it sounds radical compared to all of his other stuff but it could still be our perception because what sounds radical to us may not be to others.
