The Status Quo - Pictures of Matchstick Men

Seymouro
Hope y'all got "stuffed" yesterday on Thanksgiving.

Here is a fave of mine when I was a greasy, raw punk of not yet 11 years of age. Yeah, I was already listening to this stuff at just shy of eleven! One hit wonder. The concept behind this, plus the psychedelic sound of that time are worthy of some consideration. Lord they tried but everything that followed was junk. Another "Jolly Old England" band trying to turn a pence or a shilling somewhere, somehow!

Still, they succeeded with flying colors here, in my humble (but jaded) opinion.

Anyone?

I actually inherited that 45 from my brother in 1975 when he moved away but I listened to what he played so I was up on lots of current stuff.

Older brother I assume. I also assume he had good taste in music?
