This is obscure but I just love it, love the whole album (The Kinks and the Village Green Preservation Society). 1968. What a time.

Wow, leave it to you to come up with a Kinks song that I am quite sure I have never heard!

It's excellent!!!  I love the harmonica and the way the song speeds up and then slows back down. Great, great tune.

We all missed this record and a few others because the Kinks were actually banned from the US from 1968-71 due to horrific mismanagement by their business people.

Some like this didn't come to light in this country until they finally broke through with Lola in '71 then Sleepwalker in '78.
