Spirit Nothing to Hide

Seymouro
This was the first cut on one of my favorite albums of all time, The Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus. The last record before Ferguson left and formed Jo Jo Gunne.

Oh yeah, now there's a song. Nice, nice. Love the stereo action during the slide solo! And speaking of Jo Jo Gunne... another solid band I used to LOVE back in the day and I don't believe we've ever had any Gunne on the forum.

I just used the search and it doesn't look like there's ever been any Spirit either so good job digging that up.

Now for some Jo Jo Gunne. This was my favorite track from the Bite Down Hard album of which I had the 8-track in my car that I played a LOT:

Yes, I liked Jo Jo Gunne too.

I just missed Randy California. But that is a great tune and a very good album. I indeed recall you had that eight track (Bite Down Hard) and it was definitely a fixture in our cruising rotation.

Spirit was definitely a good band. I had to have a listen to some Jo Jo Gunne because I couldn't recall any songs by them. First thing I thought was how much they sound like Spirit which makes me think that Jay Ferguson must have been a major influence on that band. I remember his solo hit "Thunder Island" but nothing other than that. Good tune though.
