You know that I am not all that down with commercially popular music.

But this phenomenon from England - Adele - really has the pipes! She is Aretha and Janis Joplin rolled into one.

She won all 6 grammys nominated for, and in a very musically devoid of real talent world (i.e.- RAP), it is refreshing. This is the biggest hit, there are more...

Adele is awesome with powerhouse vocals. I'm getting a bit sick of "Rolling in the Deep" already just because of all the exposure but it's a great song. The second one is really cool and this is the first time I've heard that one.

Speaking of the Grammy's, I actually enjoyed most of it this year. Bruno Marrs was cool and so was Cold Play but I really enjoyed the older guys ie: Beach boys, Glen Campbell and Sir Paul (but who let Bruce play guitar at the end? sorry but he sucked).
