Rolling Stones on Sullivan

1967. Last appearance by the lads on the Sullivan show.

First song is "Ruby Tuesday". No controversy there. Then "Let's Spend the Night (Some Time) Together".

Old Ed insisted that Mick had to replace the word "Night" with "some time". You can see Mick about 5 times say "some time" then roll his eyes. He couldn't resist saying "night" about 4 more times.

Oh well. All's well that ends well. For Mick. The Sullivan show ceased three years later. Mick and the Stones have more life than cockroaches.

BTW- My beautifulwife has never seen the Stones live.

She will. With me at US Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN. Lower level, dead center from stage. Saturday May 16. Cost a pretty penny but the same seats at Ford Field were selling for $300 more apiece!

Dang, I just saw the cancellation list for the Stones tour. So sorry you blob but par for the course for now I suppose. I doubt you'd want to chance it even if it wasn't cancelled. Hopefully they reschedule.

It is going to be rescheduled, but who knows when.

We will def go if they still have a tour, but if not we got 6 Benjamins coming back.

I tried to find the Sticky Fingers concert that was on PBS recently that the stones did not long ago but it's not on YT. Flippin' fantastic. Unbelievable how good the ol' boys can jam when they want to.
