Red Rider

Seymouro
I just stumbled on this. Tom Cochrane and Red Rider. Most notable song was "Lunatic Fringe". That was about the murder of John Lennon, just after it took place.

This is the band's best song, in my opinion. These Canucks really cooked. Was one of the very early great videos on MTV.

Wow, that was really nice. I'm not very familiar with Red Rider, are they still around? Seymouro, you definitely have a knack for picking out obscure and forgotten music that is of high quality.

Yes, Seymouro knows music and doesn't disappoint when it comes to submitting great tunes

I definitely need to listen to more Red Rider. always loved lunatic Fringe, I think because it sounds so much like Floyd but with Tom Cochrane on vocals = excellent.

Thanks Bruce!

"Mark for most of you". Mark and I have an "old bit" about Red Wings broadcasters Bruce Martyn and Sid Abel. So, of course...I am "Sid".

Ha ha, is that because you guys are hockey fans? Sid and Bruce - the hockey announcers I bet.

Lunatic Fringe is still my favorite after all these years. I don't get sick of it.

Sid and Bruce weren't just announcers, they were legends.

Legends indeed.

I was thrilled to see the boys break through and win the Cup in 1997-98.

I felt wistful listening to Ken Kal and Paul Woods call the clincher, not Bruce and Sid. Never got over the two of them calling games.

I forgot about that Big League song until you posted it. I remember that one got serious airplay a while back. Tom's vocal on that was very good and I didn't appreciate it when it was on the radio.
