Pink Floyd - Better with Waters or not?

Seymouro
Some people feel that the short run of Pink Floyd after Roger Waters left the band after "The Final Cut" was better than the band was with Roger.

I beg to differ. You are better off with both Gilmour and Waters than just one. Just like the Beatles were better than John, Paul, or George solo.

But this is possibly my favorite Floyd ever, from "A Momentary Lapse of Reason". Titled "One Slip", it may as well have been titled A Momentary Lapse of Reason".

In my own personal opinion the members of Mason, Waters, Wright and Gilmour was the best Pink Floyd band. It's interesting that Gilmour wasn't even a founding member of the band but he became the the driving force post Waters.

Absolutely nailed it Bruce.

I think even Sid Barrett would agree if he were here to comment.

I'm right on the fence. As much as I love the old Floyd I love the Gilmour era of Floyd just as much. Can't really go wrong either way
