PEARL JAM does the WHO-Imitation the sincerest form of flattery

Covers can be very controversial. At times they are so far from the mark that they provoke outrage. Other times, they are so predictable that they simply bore the listener.

Occasionally, like a bolt of lightning, they can be striking and memorable.

Pearl Jam, with a great performance by Eddie Vedder, hits Love Reign O'er Me right out of the park on this one.

It HONORS and flatters the original artist like few covers ever could. Pete Townshend was bowled over by this performance.

Sorry Mark...I have discovered that these addresses that I am getting in the http window are all the same when I am in You Tube.

I have had so much trouble with doing anything at all on this thing since the snow took my connection down that I feel like throwing the whole thing in the nearest dumpster.

OK, I got that one. Man, Vedder really belted that one out... not many could even attempt a Daltry vocal like that. I was never a huge Pearl Jam fan but gotta give creait where it's due and they deserve it for that one.
