Only out of urgency..

Edman
Many videos may be removed due to a recent stand some of the records companies are once again taking- so I submit to you this video for review.  It is a classic from Woodstock. Amongst the many other fine attributes of this video, please note the exceptional earliest recorded air guitar solo examples at around the 6:45 mark that I can remember seeing. I must have watched this video 4-5 times now... PLAY IT LOUD!!!

Good one Edward. I was 12 when this was recorded and I distinctly remember watching Cocker as a kid and being just a bit uncomfortable watching him perform. Always seemed he was having a siesure while singing and wasn't until I was older that I appreciated the soulful vocal ability that he's always had.

This particular performance contains the world famous yell that IMO equals Daltry's yell in "Won't get fooled again".

Great find.

Singin Jimmy
I sang this song many, many times - with bands, at bars...  I never had the siezures though.
When I watched this I remembered seeing Joe Cocker on the Tom Jones show!

Funny - as I get older, my memory gets worse, but I remember the STRANGEST things.

LOL!!!

JP, yes you do.... the Allman Bro's with Doc Severenson and now this. I bet Tom Jones was a Cocker fan because I can't imagine the show's producers pairing these two for a duet!

Just for the record... Tom Jones rocks.
