The good folks at Nabble that provide this free forum have been upgrading the sofware. Unfortunately the downside of making upgrades is that it causes bugs and other assorted troubles. I think the only thing that you as users have seen so far is the dissappearing avitars (your picture) which needed to be re-associated.
A recent change that Nabble did affected user permissions and has caused the administrator (that's me) some headaches. Bascially, I had to reset the permissions for all of the main headings.
If you see or have any troubles let me know.
