I was watching this flick called "Pride" - it was based on a true story starring Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac where they reopened an old Philadelphia rec center that had a regulation-size Olympic style swimming pool, and formed a competitive swim team that won a city championship...on TNT last night. It was one of the last movie efforts by Bernie (2007), but the setting was in 1976, so some cool jams were on it. Here are just a couple...

Yes, gots ta love da funk. Whoever put that Isley Bro's vid together did a good job of piecing that all together. It's easy to forget how long they've been around. Are they still doing anything?

James was in rare form doing The Payback.... just wish I could understand what the heck he's singing about. As soon as the song started I thought about Eddy Murphy and that hot tub bit he used to do on SNL, ha!
