That was great!  I only have Birds of Fire, so I don't remember this tune.  Sounded like the same violinist that was on Birds of Fire.  I love the shredding along with the wah-wah pedal.  What a great unique sound!  

Oh yeah...Billy & John were ok too!

That would be Jerry Goodman on electric violin and a young Jan Hammer on keyboard.

I'm not sure but if this song isn't on Birds of Fire it's probably on Inner Mounting Flame because it's definitely from that era. You can see where Billy and Jan honed their skills before going solo. It's cool to see John with that double-neck Gibson SG that he used to play back then.
