This band never seemed close to getting its due.

Founder Lowell George and a couple other folks from the Mothers formed the band, and this is one of many very good songs they did. I can't find a current video (I can find newer ones from 2010 but they have much different personnel than they did then...George was already passed on by then).

Agreed, LF was a great band and did some attention but seemed to fizzle after Lowell George who was the most well known member (as close as my old brain can recall). This is a great tune and I can hear the FZ influence.

Great music and I never knew tha there was a tie to Zappa but like you said, I never really gave them proper consideration either.
