As a first generation American born by British parents, I am in the unique position to state that black Americans like the immortal John Lee Hooker with many others like Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and Muddy Waters, created Blues music worldwide. Then the British invasion, with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, The Who, Robin Trower, and a cast of hundreds of incredibly gifted Brits from one tiny island honed, crafted and polished it like a diamond. Then an artist like Carlos Devadip Santana polished it some more.
John Lee Hooker (may he rest in peace) is my personal favorite. Here are two clips of him solo, followed by a third clip with none other than Carlos Devadip Santana!
