Jim Allchin, Microsoft Executive...

Edman
Blasphemy! Well hold on- I thought it would be interesting to know. Here's a guy from Grand Rapids, Mi that went all the way to having Bill Gates recruit him personally to join Microsoft. It is also interesting that he faltered on his Geek career path early, having fallen into having a dream of being in a band, then returning- to his geek career. After many accolades and awards as and engineer and programmer, here has returned to his love and passion. More on him  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Allchin

but - here's a little ditty that kind of sounds like 80's guitar-star material... and I kinda like it.

I just prefer instrumentals sometimes. Please go lightly on me-- I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIS SONGS WITH VOCALS ON HIS CD!

That's really interesting. To look at a picture of him I'd never peg this guy as a shredder. So he recorded his first album at age 58? I guess he can do whatever he wants, he probalbly has the cash. He reminds me a LOT of Joe Satriani style wise... real basic rock beat and bass with him soloing over the top of it.

With his history, I'm surprised that he doesn't play keyboards!

Yeah it's a nice song. Well played but I think the most interesting part was his use of the i-pod silhouette dancers toward the end. Does Jobs know about this?
