I tell you guys, there are a few songs out there, that imho are………..timeless.

This one, this version, I think is early 60s.
But I think even here it’s a cover.  
I really don’t know who did it first.

But, be it in the back of a 60s Chevy,
where it got heavy,
an 80s Pontiac, or a 2020s Tesla,
a great song then, a great song now.

Bob, yeah, I did a quick search and saw that it was written in 1934!

The Flamingo's version is classic but you also need to listen to this one if you've never heard it. Freekin heavenly:

I saw somewhere it was part of a soundtrack for an early movie. Back in the 30s.  Someone then took the main parts and made it a song that stood on its own.

Wow, the 1930's, freakin 90 years ago!

The Garfunkle version is great and is now my fav. His voice is heavenly.
