Wow, that's an oldie! LOVE that stuff!!! And with regard to your comment, yes, there have been Robin Trower posts on the forum. I used the search feature and found this thread from May of 2009:

No big surprise that the original Robin Trower thread was started by Seymouro.

The "I can't wait much longer" video is from his Winterland concert in 1975.

I LOVE that tune. Trower is a beast on guitar. Is he still around? I don't remember the last time I heard robin on the radio. Go figure.

No big surprise that the crap stations don't play Trower... not even to classic stuff. Tragic. Anyway, he is still around, he has a new album and is still touring.

Oh yeah, and did I mention I had 2nd row seats to see him in 1976? And then in the 90's at Harpo's with Seymouro?  I won't ever forget either show.

One thing that's missing here are the other members of Robin's band. I honestly never knew who played drums but James Dewar was a phenomenal singer and bass player.

Oh yeah, I always loved James vocal and still do. Seems like Robin tried to find other singers that sound like James but IMO no one can touch him for that style.

James was phenomenal on vocals and bass and didn't do much outside of Trower's band. Shame, not sure when he stopped performing but I know he died in the early 2000's.

I honestly did not know that James passed. Man, I'm bummed now. I saw a vid recently with him at an older age playing with Trower, must have been some sort of reunion in the late 90's. I was going to do a search to find out what he's been up to lately but I guess I don't need to now. Dang.

I looked and I couldn't find a later video of James so if you come across it again please post it.

That is outstanding, but that video is about the darned near equally outstanding "Last Dance for Mary Jane" cover of Tom Petty.

Anybody on here that does not make it to "Jamuary 2020" if they have it (and I am sure they will) - will be called on the carpet by yours truly.

I drove 900 miles round trip mainly to see it and I would do it again in a NY second!

Haaa!!! I put up the wrong video. I know someone must have taken one of the Trower song. Once I get it I'll put it on U-tube.
