I loved these guys back in the day and still think their early tunes are great. Bummer that Mark Lindsey, aka "Paul Revere" died today. I don't know any details, I just think it's sad to see classic rockers dying off.

I love those guys too but FYI, It wasn't Mark Lindsey who died it was the keyboard player whos noame was actually Paul Revere. I think I heard that he just retired from the band recently. Sad.

I stand corrected. I never knew the band was named after one it's members, I just thought there whole bit was modeled after the original PR in order to utilize the outfits, etc. I remember being mezmerized by the whole thing as a kid when I saw them on TV.

Yes, incredibly the guy's name was Paul Revere.

This is one of the greatest stage acts of all time, with a tremendous amount of substance and talent. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame strikes out yet again by not having the Raiders in it...
