Yup, that's the Bugs I will always remember. I did a quick check to see when he formed that band and it was 1982 and I (we) became familiar with him shortly after that. What a music scene it was back then! There were great bands playing all over the place and Bugs was a highlight. The life span of that band was 41 years which is amazing for a local band and I'm sure it wasn't easy for him as the band leader dealing with constant personnel changes. Bugs was only 70 years old. Effing cancer.

Bugs was the trombone player. He was a great band leader and as you can see he always let the whole band shine and that's why it's not real obvious that it's his band. He could have hogged the spotlight if he wanted to but he never did.
