George Harrison total brilliance

Seymouro
"Art of Dying" from "All Things Must Pass".

The instrumentals here are otherworldly. Even though Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" is a bit over the top. Still, I can't say its not in the top ten of my all time favorite albums based on both quality and quantity.

Wonder if George was replaying this in his blessed head in the late 1990's when he was really sick?

Reincarnation is addressed. George was very open minded with regard to religion and I have to at least give him consideration on that point.

He is possibly the one person that I admire and love of them all that I would loved to have spent just one day with.

Oh yeah, the entire album is top shelf and I even like the way the wall of sound was applied in this case. Would have been just as good without it but that era of production was interesting. There was much worse at the time.

I really hope that George got right with God when they finally met because I doubt the big guy was very pleased with George's religious beliefs.

I'm sure this is not a problem. Was a very introspective man ... I think he was just doing research and did it pretty thoroughly. Everything I can see points to him taking what is the right path.

George was AWESOME!!!

Regarding his salvation... God did say "you shall not put false gods brfore me" and "the only way to heaven Is through Jesus"

Although George did spend most of his life following Krishna, a Hindu god, I did read somewhere that George turned to Christ in his final days. I do hope that's true.

But this is a music forum so I digress...
