I Got A Thing.

Just came out as a huge AM hit by George Clinton and the crew. Then rechristened Parliament-Funkadelic. My fave is Maggot Brain but I absolutely loved this too.

This guy is the original father of rap also, i.m.h.o.

I honestly have not listened to a lot of the Parliament/Funkadelic stuff so I don't even know how much of it I actually like. I need to do some Googling to get more background and listen to some tunes because I think I'm missing out.

Well, if you're like me, if you pick through enough of it you will find some you like. Maybe even a lot. I definitely don't like all of it.

That Maggot Brain song is bad-a$$. I had to Wiki it and I found out that Eddie Hazel was the guitarist and the solo he did is considered one of the greatest of all time. He died in 92 and was inducted into the RRHOF in 97. Very cool stuff.
