Deep Purple - The Infamous Richie Blackmore Incident

From a 1974 Festival in California. Apparently Blackmore was miffed about having to go on stage early and this was the result. The explosion was the best part but I think Blackmore could have used some lessons on how to trash music equipment. It looked like he was dumping equipment he didn't want to haul to the next gig!!!

Oh wow, what a display! I've heard things about Blackmore being difficult but this is new for me. I've always loved Deep Purple music just never knew they could get crazy like that. The crowd got some souvenirs that night! I can just picture some kid wheeling out a speaker cabinet!!!
