David Gilmour - High Hopes

First, David playing the acoustic part of "High Hopes" during a sound check. This was very interesting to see him in a pre-concert setting realizing that even during a simple sound check there are cameras and recorders all over the place. I'm not sure what song he's playing when he switches to the Wiessenborn lap steel.

WOW!

"High Hopes" is classic.

Gilmour is the master technician. No one comes even close to his level of complete focus and attention to even the most minute detail.

Thanks Mark, I wasn't familiar with 'High Hopes', but I really enjoyed it!  I also liked 'Take a Breath', it kind of sounded like a classic Pink Floyd song to me.  I agree that he's the master technician, because it's amazing what he can do with two chords & not get boring.  I really need to add some David Gilmour to my music collection!
