Paul, thanks for the great vid! I have never heard his version of Sleep Walk and what an intensy wild version it is and much different than the original Santo & Johnny version that I attempt to play on the lap steel. If I remember correctly the original version of that song was one of the very first vid's featured on Youtube Vid of the Week, I'll have to look back in the archives now out of curiosity.
What a mastery Gatton had of the electric guitar and is why he was known as the "Tele' master" (tele': short for the Fender Telecaster that he played). Paul, thanks also for the Gatton music you've given me that has helped broaden my knowledge of this great player.
