Conquistador

Seymouro
The biggest hit was "Whiter Shade of Pale" but this was a great follow up.

Don't know if our fair-haired boy Robin was on this recording because it says 1972 and he left in 1971. But he played on the original. It appeared on the "Salty Dog" album from 1969.

I had to look. Wikipedia shows Dave Ball listed as "guitar" on that album. Also says it was recorded Nov 71 and released in 72. Great tune even though Trower wasn't there.

Phil Spector must have approved. Total wall of sound. Awesome.

Agreed. The sound is awesome and they did a great job re-creating that song in 92.

Jingles
I always thought that Procol Harum were great with and without Trower and this song is no exception. Actually, as much as I like the songs with Trower, i think Robin is better on his own.
