Love the Motown sound. My favorite was the Temptations.

Here, the legendary Funk Brothers really get after it. I also dig hell out of "Papa Was A Rolling Stone", but this is my fave. Dennis Edwards is kind of a forgotten member given David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks. These two are his brainchild. Dude must have spent a little time in the mushrooms haha.



Thought y'all would appreciate seeing the boys live, but the musical part is somewhat dumbed down.

Pretty awesome but the only bummer is that they don't show the band in the live video. I want to see those boys playin them horns!

The Funk Brothers were on a ton of those old Motown hits during the 70s and they were great. Didn't get enough credit for all the work they did because those horns made that sound. I watched a documentary about those guys a while ago called something like "Standing in the shadows" so if you haven't seen it you should definitely look for it.
