Classics IV - "Stormy" and "Traces"

Some members of this band went on to join the Atlanta Rhythm Section in 1974. These songs were recorded in 1969. Moody and reflective, this band also recorded "Spooky" in 1968, but these are my favorites.

Oh yeah, The Classics IV. I always loved their tunes but if you had asked me did them there's no way I'd recall the name of the band so thanks for posting these great old songs. Much of their stuff sounded very similar but I still liked it all. One example is that "Stormy" and "Spooky" were almost exacly the same. I remember when I learned how to play one on guitar it was like getting a 2 fer 1. The song "Sunny" was another one that was pretty close...

I had no idea that the band ARS was an offshoot from Classicx IV but as per usual I prefer the original. The lead singer obviously was not in ARS, that dude was excellent.
