Best cover ever done IMO

Seymouro
This is available on remastered versions of both Fragile and Close to the Edge. This is a case where the live version I have embedded is better than the remasters. Remastering depends a lot on who does the job.

This is off an album of live recordings called "Keys to Ascension" that was released in 1996. They did well considering there was no Wakeman or Bruford in this one.

Steve Howe is freaking legendary.

That's fantastic!  Yup, Steve is THE MAN. Even though he is a legendary and iconic guitarist I still think he doesn't get the credit he deserves because he's not shredding with loads of distortion but his technical skills are off the chart. I have tried to play Steve Howe licks and I don't get very far. The level of difficulty is high.

This is great but the downer I just learned is that, apparently, there will never be a Yes reunion with Jon and Steve because Steve no longer wants to work with Jon. Sad.

That is sad. Sounds like they've just had enough of each other. Kinda like a mini Gilmour/Waters.

Not like Gilmour/Waters because Jon would still like to work with Steve so Steve is the holdout with Yes. More similar to Deep Purple where Richie would go back to DP but Ian does not want to work with Richie again (in this case probably for good reason).

Yeah, I'm not a big Richie fan but he was great in DP back in the day. I read an article with Ian Gillan and was asked why no reunion with Blackmore and he was very diplomatic. Basically said that he didn't think Blackmore was as good as he used to be and since DP had the great Steve Morse it just didn't make sense. I bet there was more to it that that though.
