The first great rock video...
The BEATLES.
HELP!
Some of the best bass work ever from Sir Paul McCartney in that one.
"I Saw Her Standing There" has more energy than the atomic bomb! Possibly my favorite song by the early Beatles. Takes no prisoners. Look at Ringo waving his mop like he has to mop up the Royal Albert Hall (now we know how many holes it takes to fill the....) This was the "B" side to the single "I Want to Hold Your Hand". The freaking B side?
Oh, and we all crack up over the audience scenes. Dig this one! The checkered shirt mob. The studious looking female that appears like she is taking notes in some undergrad class. Hilarious! Looking like they may fall asleep any second while the band is performing a song that will stand up until the end of days...
And more...
Hell will freeze over, the birds will stop flying back to the north in the spring, the voice of the turtle will cease to be heard again if any band ever scratches the surface of what this
obscure band from Liverpool achieved.
It'll never be challenged.
Guarantee it.
Here we go-
I could go on all day but I'll limit it to a BIG FIVE!
Help!
